Drive 0 Not Found Serial Ata Sata 0 Alert

Serial Ata Drive not found by bios By don4biz 12 years ago I have a Compaq Presario sr1130nx to which I am trying to install a new Hitachi 1tb 3gb Deskstar 7K1000 B serial ata HDD. Have a dell precision t7400, and I have to press F1 before windows 7 boots up every single time. It always says 'drive 1 not found: serial ata sata 1 failed to detect one or more drives during POST. It says the same regarding drive 2. When I press F1, windows boots up fine and windows sees both hard drives. I bought the computer from someone on craigslist.
